Twenty Ten is here, and it’s awesome. Tons of great work went in to creating the new default WordPress theme. I love the clean lines and easy readability of the new design. I made a few tweaks (added a drop shadow to the wrapper, and changed the ‘visited’ link color). It has a ton of options, including the ability to switch to a one column layout. Very cool!

Hi Dan…I am new with the theme and was wondering if you can help me.
At the right bottom of this theme on my site, there are 3 hyperlinks…Proudly pwered by wordpress, install wordpress and the last one web hosting.
Is there a way to remove the last one (web hosting)?
I am using bluehost and even my tab icon has their logo!
Can you please tell me how to remove it?
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, you can go in to the theme’s folder and find the footer.php file. In there you can edit what shows up there.

In case anyone is interested, I’ve just released a new Twenty Ten child theme called Twenty Ten Weaver for the self-hosted version of WP 3. It lets you tweak most of the colors, as well as a bunch of layout stuff. It includes over a dozen predefined sub-Themes.
It is available at: http://wpweaver.info/themes/twenty-ten-weaver/
It was developed using WP 3 RC 1.
